Hi there! I'm Cindy G. Castillo, a passionate beauty and fashion content creator with a decade of experience in the media industry. My journey begins in San Luis Rio Colorado, Sonora, Mexico, where I was born. My family settled in the U.S. - in the small border town of San Luis, Arizona, just a few hours away from Phoenix, when I was seven years old. This move marked the beginning of my lifelong adventure in creativity and storytelling.

From a young age, I was drawn to the arts. Whether it was writing, photography, graphic design, or painting, I’ve always found joy and fulfillment in creating and sharing my work. As a senior at San Luis High School, I discovered the Media Arts and knew I wanted to pursue a career in journalism. I was the only one in my class to choose this path, but I was determined to turn my passion into a profession.

As a first-generation Latina and the first woman in my family to graduate from university, this journey was both a personal and cultural milestone for me, and I was driven to succeed and make my family proud.

My career took off in Phoenix, where I wrote for several esteemed publications, both in English and in Spanish, and worked in radio. These opportunities allowed me to hone my skills in writing and storytelling, covering a wide range of topics and connecting with diverse audiences.

In 2018, I joined the E.W. Scripps Company's nationally syndicated lifestyle TV show, 'The List.' In the five years that followed, I would work my way up to become a full-time producer, crafting compelling segments on entertainment, fashion, travel, and feel-good stories, always striving to captivate and inspire viewers. Unfortunately, the show came to an end in 2023 after 11 successful seasons.

The end of 'The List' marked a new beginning for me. After being laid off, I decided to pivot my career and embrace my passion for beauty and fashion. As a beauty content creator, I now focus on sharing makeup tutorials, reviews, and fashion try-ons to inspire my followers to step out of their comfort zones and explore new looks. My content is all about unleashing creativity and having fun with beauty and style.

Currently, I have a growing community of about 7,000 followers across YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, and I'm on the exciting journey to reach 10,000. My goal is to build a community that loves talking about beauty and fashion, helping each other make informed decisions when shopping for new products, and sharing our unique styles.

This is my path towards entrepreneurship, fueled by my passion and desire to create content that fills my heart. It also allows me to take control of my schedule, which is especially important as I prepare to be first-time mom in September 2024. Balancing work and motherhood is my ultimate dream, and I'm excited to embark on this journey.

I see beauty and style as forms of art, and my platforms are the canvas where I share my creations with the world. My hope is to become a beauty expert through and through, constantly learning and evolving to bring you the best content possible. From makeup tutorials and reviews to clothing hauls and get-ready-with-me videos, I'm here to inspire you to embrace your unique beauty and style.
