Are you curious about Urban Decay's latest release? This foundation is making waves with its innovative formula and bold claims. I’ve been testing it for a week, and I’m ready to spill all the tea. Here’s everything you need to know about the new Urban Decay Face Bond Triple Power Foundation: the good, the not-so-good, and how it worked on my normal-to-oily skin.
What Is the Face Bond Triple Power Foundation?
Urban Decay’s Face Bond Triple Power Foundation is a multitasking 3-in-1 product designed to simplify your makeup routine. It claims to:
Act as a waterproof foundation that lasts up to 24 hours.
Function as a serum with 3% niacinamide to improve skin texture over time.
Be a self-setting foundation, eliminating the need for setting powder.
Price: $40
Shades: 40 options (I used shade 14, Light Medium Golden).
Unique Feature: A patent-pending dropper applicator for precise control.
How It Applies
I prepped my skin with a hydrating moisturizer and primer, knowing this is a matte foundation. Then, I tested it with two tools:
Foundation Brush (left side of the face): Offers medium coverage and is easy to build without caking. Work quickly, though, as the formula dries fast!
Sponge (right side of the face): Provides lighter coverage with a natural finish.
I loved how it blended seamlessly, leaving a soft matte look that felt weightless.

How It Performs
I skipped the setting powder to test its self-setting claim, and surprisingly, it delivered! The foundation provided buildable coverage that didn’t crease or smudge, even after hours of wear.
Key Observations:
Perfect for oily or combination skin.
Buildable coverage from medium to full without feeling heavy.
Natural matte finish, ideal for those who want a polished look without looking flat.

I paired the foundation with a bronzer, liquid blush, and Urban Decay’s iconic All-Nighter Setting Spray for extra longevity. This was my first time trying out this mega-hyped setting spray, and it impressed me with its fine mist and staying power.
Final Thoughts
The Urban Decay Face Bond Triple Power Foundation lived up to its claims for me. It’s perfect for oily-skinned gals (like me!) looking for a matte but natural finish. However, if you have dry skin, hydration and prepping are key to making this formula work.
Would I recommend it? Absolutely—especially if you love a multitasking foundation that simplifies your routine.
